This contract comprised the design of steelwork connections, supply and installation of steelwork to the new Morrisons supermarket in Worksop.
We were also tasked with the procurement and installation of metal deck flooring, temporary edge protection, precast concrete staircases and application of a white primer to all steelwork.
This project forms part of a framework agreement with Wm Morrison Supermarkets where we have been appointed to deliver numerous schemes to increase their retail floor space and distribution warehousing over a two to four year period. The framework was set up to drive a fundamental change in the way Morrison's deliver buildings, with a move away from traditional building techniques towards a more collaborative approach with modern methods of construction, to realise shorter construction programmes and lower capital costs.
