This new £20M industrial scale anerobic digestion plant was developed on PDMs existing rendering and renewable energy site in Widnes.
We fabricated and constructed structural steel for a new store building, de-packaging building, office building, ash store, pump room and trailer park canopy.
The 2.4MW plant will have the capacity to handle more than 90,000 tonnes of commercial and domestic food waste - generating renewable energy for approximately 8,000 homes. It will also deliver 4,000kg/hr of steam and hot water.
